Breast Cancer Metastatic to Gluteus Maximus: A Case Report

Breast cancer rarely metastasizes to skeletal muscle. Moreover, muscle is a rare site of metastasis for any type cancer. In this study, we report an unexpected finding enlarged mass in the gluteus maximus asymptomatic patient with distant history breast The was observed during computed tomography evaluation preparation non-oncologic procedure. Biopsy and pathological investigation confirmed metastasis. An increased awareness metastatic sites important so that such lesions are critically evaluated early imaging examination.
